Netherurd House

Our grade 2 listed Georgian manor house is full of character with high ceilings and traditional décor all combined with modern facilities. Accommodation for max 39 including accessible bedrooms and wet room.


Rooms

The fantastic house offers sleeping facilities for up to 39 people on the upper 2 floors of the building, with a variety of single, double and triple bedrooms. En-suite bedrooms are available in a number of rooms, while there are convenient, shared shower rooms and bathrooms for the rest of the rooms. The cottage attached to the main house consists of one single room and two double rooms, with an accessible wet room.



Scotland & Edinburgh function rooms

Scotland and Edinburgh drawing rooms are located on the first floor of the house, by our sweeping wooden staircase or accessible by our lift to provide guests with a versatile break-out area. The joining rooms can be used as one large area or sliding doors can be used to split the room in two. Both rooms have beautiful marble fireplaces, chairs and tables for guests use. The room can be set up in any way, whether it’s for a workshop or a conference. Laptops, projectors, projector screens and flip charts are available by request. There is also easy access to bathrooms on this floor.



Conservatory

The conservatory is located on the ground floor, at the side of the building. This room provides a modern space for guests to use for a variety of activities such as meetings or even movie nights! Chairs and tables are available for use. A projector, laptop and flip chart are available on request. The conservatory provides disabled accessibility from the outdoor path and also has an accessible toilet.



Dining room, Bar and Library

The bar area is located on the first floor of the house and is furnished with comfortable sofas, seats and coffee tables. This room can be used as a break-out area, a meeting room or guests can enjoy an evening drink in our fully licenced bar. There is also access to toilets directly beside the bar room.

The Library is located on the ground floor beside the reception area. This room is furnished with comfortable sofas, an electric fire place and window bench seating. This room can be used for casual meetings, enjoying a cup of tea and one of Netherurds famous scones or even enjoying a game or two!

The dining room is situated on the ground floor of the house. The 7 round tables and chairs allow for 49 people to be seated comfortably and enjoy a tasty meal!
